3-Day Glamping Adventure
Day 1
Rapids & Mountains
Start your trip on the Kawatiri/Buller River towards Lake Rotoiti, where we start the journey from depends on water level as the section out of the Lake can get low over the summer months. Paddle through fun Grade 2-3 rapids, warming up skills before conquering the legendary Granity Rapid. Expect laughs, splashes, and epic mountain views. Set up comfortable camp by the river with vehicle-accessible amenities.
Day 2
Cruisy Float Day
Drift down the river, pasting native bush and quiet farmland with fun Grade 2 rapids. Pass the riverside town of Murchison before wrapping up with O'Sullivan's Rapid. Camp tonight overlooks the peaceful Māuria Confluence - perfect for evening yarns around the fire with a camp-cooked meal.
Day 3
Big Rapids & Epic Geology
Visit Ariki Falls and ride through Pink Granite Canyon, followed by action-packed Jet Boat and Whale Creek rapids. Cruise calm Buller Gorge waters before the grand finale: Earthquake Section created by 1968 Īnangahua earthquake landslide. Fast, splashy natural whitewater rollercoaster! Finish at iconic Iron Bridge, then hot showers and photo slideshow in Murchison.
